That scene in todays episode showed she had feelings for him due to the look she gave at first to her friend Mengyi's hand holding onto Tan yun's arm so she jumped on the free one and it was pretty obvious she was jealous of that.

As much as Zi Yan denies that she has feelings towards Tan Yun thoughout most of the novel, and Mengyi teasing her constantly and even giving her opportunities to be with Tan Yun, she doesnt take it up, this is why she was never attracted to any other man

Tan Yun had to pretend and say she doesnt hold any significant feeling or importance to him, in order to let the person drop his guard and kill him and not hurt Zi Yan. After hearing that Zi Yan was heartbroken. It is one thing to love a man who doesnt return the feelings, but it is another to actually hear from the man you love to say he doesnt love you and in his eyes you are nothing more than some common friend, she then leaves and decides to commit suicide, but luckily Mengyi informs Tan Yun that Zi Yan has always loved him (to Tan Yun's disbelief) and encourages him to go to her he manages to stop Zi Yan from killing herself and accepts her love, and he gave her his love for 3 days and nights right there and then, exhausting her they then return and under the gaze of Subing and the rest of wives they know what happened lol
